Going Keto

I started participating in a Ketogenic diet about two years ago. I am a strong advocate for Keto for those looking for a diet to enhance quality of life and overall performance. What I’ve learned is that the mental benefits of Keto are just as profound if not more profound than the physical ones. Which is important to note, for those who are less concerned about weight loss and more concerned about boosting their productivity, creativity, and all around cognitive acuity Ketosis can provide a pathway to doing so. I often get asked which is better of the two — the Mediterranean Diet or the Ketogenic Diet. And what I say is that Ketosis is unique and its effects mentally are more ignitable.

I tend to recommend a Mediterranean diet to those who like eating out and a wide variety of foods, or those that have a heart aliment. But for those who really want control and to get to that next level life health stage in their life I say go with Keto. It’s interaction with your metabolic systems and ability to produce healthier mitochondrial energy production goes a far way towards health against disease and a more efficient body as far as well-being in concerned. You will learn to love fats, not miss carbs and have the energy of a sports car rather than a station wagon.
